Get En-Gauging Challenge!
Try this with your friends and your yarn stash. The secret to a better knit sweater is the guage. Get en-gauged with this challenge!
Pick a pattern with a stated gauge or a ball of wool with a suggested knitting needle size. Make a 5 inch by 5 inch square. Measure the inside of the square 4 inches = X no. of stitches and X no. of rows. Are you exactly on gauge? If not, adjust your needle size, too many stitches, go to a larger needle and less, go to a smaller needle. GET THE GAUGE. Keep all your squares for the next part of our project!
